EBI Unites volunteers wanted

Published: September 2, 2021

EBI Unites is looking to expand its team of volunteers, who are helping to protect our environment by preventing useful products going to landfill. EBI Units has teamed up with the Co-op to collect surplus food from a number of their Renfrewshire stores on weekday evenings. The food is then re-distributed throughout Renfrewshire, with the majority going to households in Erskine, Bishopton and Inchinnan.

There’s an enthusiastic family of volunteers already helping with this work, but more are needed to collect the surplus food from the Co-op stores and deliver it to the Church of Nazarene in Erskine for sorting and storage. If you are interested, please use the ‘Volunteer’ button on our Home page and someone will be in touch.

You can find out more about what EBI Unites does from the EBI Unites menu above and by following their Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/UnitingEBI
